Hello! My name is Jaylynn Nash. Let’s chat!

Art has been a consistent passion in my life since I was little. As a toddler, I was a master finger painter when it came to shaving cream painting. At the age of nine, I picked up my first camera (film!) and have not put a camera down since. As a teenager, I taught myself Adobe Creative software to perfect my crafts. Now having over 15 years of photography, graphic design, social media, marketing, and business experience not only is it combined in my work but also my daily life. Creating is my passion and my driving force towards my happiness and I would love to share that with you as well.

I am an outgoing, people person, who expresses myself through the lens and my design work. Born in South Dakota, educated in Minnesota, and a lover of the South thanks to my father’s family roots in Louisiana. Celebrating over six years here in North Carolina, fell in love with the beaches, mountains, and everything else in between.

The Photography Sports Experience…

Having extensive experience, almost over a decade, in covering professional sports, minor/junior leagues, college level, and youth. I have covered NBA, WNBA, NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, Red Bull events, NASCAR, INDYCAR, NCAA (including local ACC games and ACC Championships as Lead Photographer), and my work has been featured on ESPN, Getty Images, Sports Illustrated, The Washington Post, USA Today, The New York Times, NFL, SB Nation, Forbes, NHL, the Canes hockey mural at the RDU Airport, arenas, billboards, books, magazines, clothing, Canes marketing materials, Canes socials, along with Capitals, Dallas Stars, Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames, Rangers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Spalding, ACC, NC State, Duke, Wake Forest, Clemson, and other teams.To add, I have also worked full-time in some of those leagues listed above in the graphics/digital marketing department, along with the honor of being their Team/Lead Photographer, so I understand how the Creative Services department runs. Some of my clients include the NHL Carolina Hurricanes, Red Bull, NHL, Atlantic Coastal Conference, NC State Athletics, Duke Athletics, Wake Forest Athletics, NASCAR, INDYCAR, Getty Images, USA Today, Upper Deck, North Carolina Football Club, NC Courage, Bauer Hockey, Brown, Notre Dame and more. To add, I have done media day set ups and studio sessions with athletes which includes my own studio lights, background/stands, etc. Telling the story of the athlete for magazines, brands, sponsors or have had to follow the guidelines ESPN wanted for me when I photographed the players for their TV needs as well. Including I have done many media days in the past for different pro leagues so I am familiar with the needs of a creative/ marketing team if that is of interest ever as well.

Finally over the years I have had many leadership opportunities, including the role of Team/Lead Photographer, educating and teaching the youth/interns, and directing photoshoots.

Not only have I covered some of the top sports, but I also have covered for popular brands in the US as well as helped many startups with delivering them their first digital content needs. Some brands/fashion I have covered for are Bauer Hockey, LSKD, Mott and Bow, SkinCeauticals- L’oreal Group, Blue Shark Vodka, NCRLA, NC Realtors, UNRL (MN Brand), Medlies formally Zupa Noma (sold at Whole Foods), The Mayton Inn-Hotel, byNiche (NY Brand), Team IFA, Tin Roof-Raleigh, TrueRest-Cary, and for Metta World Peace’s clothing company. All of which dealt with models, influencers, events, commercial headshots, product shots, studio photoshoots, and well-known athletes, showing versatility in my work, plus I travel all the time.

While my social media may show otherwise, I started out in portraiture and still continue with it.
